NEIL JACOBS
TWELVE STRING GUITAR
"The Rockin'est 12 string guitar since early Leo Kotke"
Austin Chronical
" He does everything to that guitar but give it a message"
Livingston Taylor
Singer and Song writer Alan Cayn
plays mountain dulcimer, guitar and other instruments to accompany his rich baritone voice. Alan sings about life. . . Whether it's a song about the art of fly fishing, the lilting ballads of the British Isles, the lure of the Great Lakes, or the rowdy songs of the Seven Seas.
Alan is a wonderful musician and a great performer, with total command of traditional
celtic and contempory folk music.
Neil Jacobs is truly a remarkable performer on the 12-string guitar.
Drawing inspiration from his world travels and improbable life experiences, he shares
his amazing stories with his audience as he performs breathtaking compositions representing
each adventure. . . . Whether it be music influenced by his studies and travels with the
Gypsies of Spain, the refugee camps of the tragic Balkan War, or surreal "cowboy" television specials in Eastern Europe. Neil brings the music to life, pushing the limits of this
traditional folk instrument as he fuses Gypsy, Celtic, Balkan, and Classical influences
into new American music.
