Jim Foote Memorial Print
"Autumn Courtship"  Image size 24 x 30
"Autumn Courtship", a previously unpublished painting by nationally renowned wildlife artist James Edward Foote, was released in August of 2005 in celebration of his life, his work, and his love for the great outdoors. Jim as he was known to his friends, passed away rather suddenly on August 10, 2004 near his summer home in Atlanta, Michigan.

This high quality fine art giclee reproduction, printed on 100% cotton archival canvas, with the best fade resistant inks available, was taken from an original painting which Jim completed shortly before his death.

In keeping with the artist's integrity, this image is being released in a strict limited edition of 580 prints, ( the same size edition as his first grouse print published in 1978 ) and will not be reprinted or made available in any other format.

The frame, a favorite style Jim Chose for many of his originals, measures 32 x 38 inches overall and is constructed of a 3 inch wide rustic wood molding with a natural linen liner. Included with each print is a brass plate to memorialize Jim's life, and a sequentially numbered certificate of authenticity hand signed by his wife Joanne. Who has authorized this print as a tribute, and a lasting memorial to the man that not only loved his art . . .  but lived it as well.
